UGC NET Commerce is a national level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Commerce. The exam is held twice a year in online mode. The UGC NET Commerce exam consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is a common paper for all subjects and is designed to test the teaching and research aptitude of the candidate. Paper 2 is subject-specific and consists of questions related to Commerce. The syllabus for UGC NET Commerce includes various topics such as Accounting, Business Finance, Business Economics, Business Statistics, Business Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, and International Business, among others. To apply for UGC NET Commerce, candidates must have a Master's degree or its equivalent in Commerce or a related field with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). Candidates who are in the final year of their Master's degree can also apply.
